Description
This is a finely carved wooden sculpture from the Luba peoples of The Congo, Africa. This sculpture represents a Divination ritual, the diviner sits with the person, hands out, and offerings are made, and kola nuts are used as part of the ritual. This sculpture was in a Philadelphia area collection since the 1990's. The figure measures 13 x 6 inches tall.

Well weathered and worn, overall good/fair condition.
