Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, finely potted in spherical body, heavy to the lower belly, gently tapered to the bulbous lower neck leading to the flared rim, raised upon a splayed footed base. Two under glazed blue Fu bats to the neck. The exterior decorated with famille rose hand-painting of continuous scene depicting dragon boat festival within waterside landscape. Bordered with cobalt blue under glazed knotted Ruyi bands under the rim followed by repeated tropical leaves pattern above scrolling foliage encircling centralized lotus blossom.


Mark on base, Six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- Characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
