Antique 1909 Edgewood by International Silver 5" Sterling Silver Sugar Tong. These are beautiful antique 1909 International Silver sugar tongs in the elegant Edgewood pattern. The pattern features an elegant leaf design down the tong. They are approximately 5" in length and have an approximate weight of 36.4g. International Silver Co. was formed in Meriden, Connecticut, in 1898 by a group of independent silversmiths. This association came to include Rogers Bros. (and their famous 1847 trademark), Derby Silver, Meriden Britannia, Webster and Wilcox, among many others. Being an antique item, there may still be some patina, discoloration, toning, or light scratches due to age. Whether or not you like toning is a personal preference but silver can always use more polishing, if desired.
