**First Time At Auction**
Ancient Near East, Holy Land (Canaan/the Levant), Iron Age, ca. 1000 to 500 BCE. An ensemble of pottery vessels that showcase a variety of different forms of ancient pottery from the same region. Three wheel-thrown piriform vessels of varying heights with flat stable bases, bulbous bodies, long tubular necks, and flared rims for holding perfumes or other less-common oils, one in hues of grey, and two in hues of orange in deep red; a large-bodied vessel with a rounded base, a tapered neck, a flared rim, and an applied handle for holding more common liquids; and a chalky-white wheel-thrown footed vessel with a wide piriform body, a tapered and slightly-flared neck, a wide flared rim, and a short applied handle. Size of largest vessel: 2" W x 6.125" H (5.1 cm x 15.6 cm).

Age-commensurate surface wear and pitting to all vessels, with minor losses to rims, handles, and bases, and earthen and mineral deposits throughout. Tallest vessel has indentation to side.
