Description
PRESSED PETAL AND HEXAGONAL-BASE PAIR OF CANDLESTICKS, each translucent starch blue above alabaster/clambroth with light to medium sanded surfaces, each with reinforced six-petal sockets with a hexagonal extension, raised on a double-knop stems, hexagonal three-step standards, and hexagonal bases, each wafer construction. Mt. Washington Glass Works. 1845-1870. 8 1/4" H, 4 3/8" DOA base.
One undamaged, other with a crack to the socket and an elongated check to the top of the base, possibly as made.
