LEE/ROSE NO. 459-N CUP PLATE, brilliant dark blue, 81 even scallops. Color not listed in AGCP, Bilane recorded only one example. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1835-1855. 3 3/4" D.
Lacking six scallops and roughly eight others tipped, one moderate and two smaller top-rim spalls.
Literature: Lee/Rose - American Glass Cup Plates, p. 277. Bilane - Cup Plate Discoveries Since 1948, p. 26 records color.
