Description
LEE/ROSE NO. 619-B CUP PLATE, all-over silver nitrate/amber staining with scallops left colorless, embossed "BENJAMIN FRANKLIN", 57 even scallops. Extremely rare, only three or four recorded. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1830-1845. 3 7/16" D.
Loss of one scallop, five others tipped and two additional lightly tipped, otherwise only some very light under-rim mold roughness.
