**First Time At Auction**
Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A petite mold-made oil lamp with a raised and stable circular base, rounded bottom section, an ovolo-variant adorned shoulder with a raised linear pattern surrounding the missing fill hole, and a short wick spout. An abstract raised palm leaf motif stems from the circular base and extends upwards along the bottom portion of the wick spout. Traces of original terracotta pigmentation remain. Size: 2.875" L x 2.375" W x 1.125" H (7.3 cm x 6 cm x 2.9 cm)
