Description
An Egyptian faience ushabti, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, depicted mummiform and standing on integral base, wearing tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded at chest, hands holding a pack and hoe, basket over left shoulder, vertical plinth down back and vertical column of hieroglyphic text down the front of the legs. H: 4 3/4 in (12cm). Pale green patina and dark mineral deposits. Ex Suffolk, UK private collection.
