Description
A pair of unusual stamp seals from Costa Rica, c. AD 500 – 1500. The first is 1-5/8 in wide and creates a lunar motif, perhaps an eclipse. It also has an unusual handle made in the form of an avian head. The second is 2-1/4 in wide and creates a four-pronged star design. Good mineral deposits. Ex Melnick collection.
