Description
NAILSEA NAUTILUS MINIATURE LAMP, two-toned blue and opal with eight groups of loops, satin finish, shell-form font with colorless applied base, raised on four stylized legs, matching patterned six-point star shade with a lightly scalloped rim, period No. 1 collar. Fitted with a period slip burner. Non-period colorless chimney. Attributed to Stevens & Williams. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 11 1/4" H to top of shade, 6 3/8" H to top of collar, 3 1/4" x 6".
Lamp undamaged, one foot lightly ground, as made for leveling. Burner deflector with light denting.
