ENGLISH GEORGIAN-STYLE EBONIZED-WOOD AND GILT-METAL BRACKET CLOCK, brass movement with both eight-bell chime and coil-gong Westminster chimes, housed in an ebonized wood case having gilt-metal mountings, molding, and feet, with tombstone-arch glass door, and hinged back panel; metal dial with Roman numerals, on gilt-metal face under twin selector dials for rate adjustment and choice of eight-bell or Westminster chimes, surrounded by gilt-metal ormolu-style mountings. Pendulum present. 19th century. 19 3/8" H, 16" x 10 1/8" OA.
Very good condition overall, expected minor wear, glass pane cracked, case with some natural splitting or separation, some gilt-metal mountings slightly loose. Currently in working condition.
