"Trace"? Signed original oil on board "Shooting Driven Grouse" in a hill country scene. No information could be found on the signature or any wildlife/hunting artist by the first or last name of "Trace" that is hand signed bottom right of this very fine and well executed original artwork. The scene appears to be in Europe as the hunters are wearing ties and much more formal wear than seen in the US. "Driven Grouse" shoots are a staple of Great Britain and other European countries. At any rate, the artist could not be identified. This painting measures 19 1/2" x 15 1/2" (Image) with frame size being 25" x 21". The painting remains in immaculate condition and is very colorful. This would be a super nice addition to any game room or den. Good original art is always worth the investment and with some work on identifying this artist (who is very accomplished) the eventual buyer of this painting may score big returns!
