Description
Circa 1860 Lithographic Portrait of David Wilmot by M. H. Traubel of Philadelphia. David Wilmot was an American politician from Pennsylvania who opposed slavery. This print includes a quote by Wilmot, "Neither Slavery nor involuntary servitude shall ever exist in any part of said Territory except for crime whereof the party shall be first duly convicted". Approximate size is 8-1/4" x 12-3/8". Condition: light soiling, foxing spots, occasional creases and edge wear.
