Impressive Owens Utopian cider set consisting of a 12 1/4 inch tankard and ten 5 inch mugs, all with a cherry motif. The tankard has overall crazing and has had professional repair to the handle and is impressed OWENSART, UTOPIAN and 1015. The four left and six right handed mugs are impressed OWENS, Utopian and 1035. All pieces have artist's marks in slip near the bottom of the handle. The mugs all have crazing, a few have firing separations on the inside at the point the top of the handle connects to the body, one has a couple of tiny glaze skips, one has some chipping and a couple of tight lines descending from the rim and one has two tight lines descending the rim. A large matching set is uncommon.
