All in good condition. Wood and varnish and other mixed media. Lot includes Dan Wari game boards with bead containers, carved crocodile and Antelope Panel from East Africa. Several Tji-Waras - mythical being, half-man, half-antelope, who taught the Bambara people of Mali to cultivate the earth.The Bambara people consider land to be the primary life-giving resource, and farming the oldest, noblest profession. Primitive wood fork inherited from Pamela McDowall Wragg, Missionary From African of New Guinea. Average size is 10". Provenance: The Acacia Collection and The Old Slave Mart Museum. Est. $300-500.
