Description
PRESSED EIGHT-PANEL TULIP CELERY GLASS, deep fiery opalescent bowl with eight-scallop rim, joined by a wafer to a colorless free-blown baluster-form stem and an applied circular foot with polished pontil mark. Pittsburgh area, possibly Bakewell, Pears & Co. 1845-1865. 8 1/4" high, 5 1/4" diameter rim, 3 5/8" diameter foot.
