Description
FREE-BLOWN, GADROON-DECORATED, AND ENGRAVED CELERY GLASS OR VASE, colorless lead glass, deep bowl with superimposed swirled 20-rib gadrooning at base and flared rim, engraved with daises and undulating leaves above entwined berry vines, raised on a button-knop stem and circular foot with rough pontil mark. Probably Bakewell, Page & Bakewell, Pittsburgh. 1815-1825. 8 3/8" H, 4 3/4" D rim, 4" D foot.
Undamaged.
