Banded design with intercepting red-field bars of stacked cream and blue triangles, brown, cream, with cochineal-dyed red and indigo-dyed blue yarns
5'4'' H x 4'7.5'' W
Provenance: Estate, Santa Monica, CA.
Notes: Dye-testing analysis by Dr. David Wenger of Jefferson Medical college, Philadelphia, PA confirms that sample red fibers were cochineal dyed and blue fibers are indigo dyed. Please reference accompanying letter and graphs from Dr. Wenger.
