JACOB PECK (AMERICAN, 19TH CENTURY) GEOLOGICAL MAP OF THE APPALACHIAN REGION engraving on paper, "Geological Map of the Mining Districts in the State of Georgia, Western parts of North Carolina, and in East Tennessee", published as a fold-out map in "The American Journal of Science and Arts", Vol. XXIII, conducted by Benjamin Silliman, M. D., LL. D., published in New Haven, CT by Hezekiah Howe & Co., January 1833, map itself possibly printed in Memphis, TN. Matted and house under glass in an old frame. Circa 1833. 12" x 15" sight, 17 1/2" x 21 1/2" OA.
Moderate to heavy areas of staining/discoloration, fold lines. Frame with minor wear. Not examined out of frame.
