Description
NATIVE AMERICAN STONE GORGET, banded red slate with streaks of black, semi-keeled form. Presented in a butterfly case; retains Certificate of Authenticity from Jackson Galleries, Mount Sterling, KY. Adena Culture; Brownstown, OH. Late Archaic to early Woodland period, 3500-2500 B.P. 3 3/8" x 2 3/8" OA.
Excellent as-found condition, expected flakes to edges.
