RICHMOND, VIRGINIA COIN SILVER FLATWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TEN, comprising five tea spoons marked "W. MITCHELL JR" in scroll for William Mitchell Jr., Richmond, VA (active 1818-1845), and three serving spoons, a tea spoon, and a master butter spreader marked "MITCHELL & TYLER" for Samuel Mitchell and John Tyler, Richmond, VA (active 1845-1866), each backward-tipped fiddle back, except butter spreader forward-tipped fiddle back; two pieces with monogram. Total weight: 9.81 ozt. First half to mid 19th century. 5" to 8 7/8" L.
