Description
AMERICAN BENNINGTON SIGNED FLINT ENAMEL POTTERY PITCHER AND BASIN, both having paneled sides, Rockingham-style glaze with splashes of green and blue enamels. Impressed on base "Fenton's / ENAMEL / PATENTED / 1849 / BENNINGTON, VT" on base Bennington Pottery, Bennington, Vermont. Circa 1850. Pitcher 12 1/2" H.
Restoration to two hairlines in basin, and several lower ribs and small area of rim of pitcher, basin with interior wear, pitcher with minor flake to inner edge of handle and rim.
