Description
Age: Probably 12 to 13th century Song to Jin dynasty
Description: A rare and attractive Chinese "Ding-type" Meiping vase. The tapering body is covered with a Persimmon glaze with an olive-brown tone stopping below the slightly flaring mouth rim and covering the projected foot rim.
Size: 9 1/8", 23.20cm.
Provenance From a French Collector of early Chinese Ceramics, collecting for almost 40 years. By repute acquired from the collection of Lord Dunbar in England.
