Ancient Near East, modern day northern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1000 to 600 BCE. A fine example of a lost wax cast bronze dagger with a narrow handle designed to have an inlaid bone or ivory panel. A classic example of a fine weapon made to be buried with one of the nomad warriors of this region. Size: 1.05" W x 11.1" H (2.7 cm x 28.2 cm)
