Description
TWO ENGLISH CERAMIC WARES, comprising a lidded blue and white transfer teapot, with a flaring flat rim flanked by a serpentine form spout opposite and flat edged handle, with transfer print mark on the bottom, "ENOCH WOOD'S, ENGLISH SCENERY, WOODS WARE, WOODS & SONS, ENGLAND," height: 4 3/4", diameter: 6"; the second a small square bowl with indented corners, centering a rural scene with a floral border pattern, reversing to a short raised rim and mark to bottom, " ADAMS, EST. 1657, CATTLE SCENERY, IRONSTONE, ENGLAND," height: 2 1/5", width: 7 3/4".
Condition
With scratches commensurate to age and use, handle to the lid has been previously re attached. The square bowl of a slightly slanted. No other apparent cracks or damages.
