Description
Two late 19th to early 20th century 9ct gold gem-brooches. The first of navette shape, set with a central red gem, to the split pearl surround and black enamel to the terminals, the second with pink central gem, applied leaves set with split pearls and a scalloped edge. Hallmarks for Chester 1899 and 1911. Lengths 3.8 to 4cms. Weight 4.9gms.
Condition
The overall condition of the lot is fair, with surface scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal in keeping with general wear. The navette shape brooch has loss to all of the black enamel to one terminal and some to the other. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
