A nice set of an important work on the growth, development, and decline of the Fur Trade in the Western U.S., including its major protagonists, events, effects, etc. Scarce with original glassine jackets. Graff notes, "Sixty years after publication, this is still the great work on the subject." (Graff 696).

Condition

Slipcase splitting along bottom edge, areas of loss to glassine at edges; volumes near fine or better.
