Description
A nice Egyptian faience plaque depicting the Apis Bull within a shrine, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, with nice green glaze, the bull represented in intaglio, the lintel adorned with hatching, a suspension loop at top. 30 x 25 mm. Light deposits. Ex collection of a Manhattan, New York professor, acquired in the 1970's.
