This is set number 3904 of of the limited en fac-simile (21.5 x 28 cm) publication, on papier bouffant vergé, des Papeteries de Bellerive, with the authorization of Philippe Gonin, in Latin and the French translation of the abbé deLille, of Les Georgiques de Virgile, with all sheets loose in three separate folders with an open cover, leather on the spine, which is within the original slipcase. The pages are profusely illustrated with woodcuts by Maillol, the third folder being a separate collation of that art. This is in near fine condition, the only flaw of note being a few light scuffs to the leather spine. The folder covers, and all pages within these three, are in fine condition, with no stains or scuffs, no tears or creases, no stamps or other attachments (other than the set number) and no writing. All the art and text are perfect. The original printing of 750 sets, by Philippe Gonin, was in 1950. This authorized edition en fac-simile is not dated.
