Description
CHINA, CIRCA 1800 A Chinese export American armorial porcelain helmet pitcher. The vine handled pitcher is decorated with a crest of an eagle with inverted wings and spade-shaped shield with vertical red lines while clutching an olive branch and arrows framed under a cluster of stars with an arched band of dots and sunburst. The cup retains a label from David Overall Chinese Export.
Provenance: The cup retains its original David Overall paper label on underside. From the estate of George Dagher, New York, New York.
