A very fine Chinese famille rose porcelain censer. Potted in an ovoid lower body, gracefully tapered toward octagon pyramidal top, raised on a demountable splayed foot base. The exterior decoration produced by carving and pierced in flori-form lotus petal, hand painted in polychrome famille rose soft natural color, with gilt over glaze lines. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.



Mark on egg shell green underglaze base, a six underglazed red seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
