Description
Central Asia, Tibet, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A belt comprised of nine brass decorative appliques of a rounded rectangular form with curvilinear flourishes, four smaller floral roundels (two with attached openwork danglers), and a buckle linked to a long fitting - all attached to a leather backing. Size: 38" L x .5" W (96.5 cm x 1.3 cm); oblong silver appliques measure 2.875" L x .5" W (7.3 cm x 1.3 cm)

Condition
One smaller floral roundel is missing and losses to some brass fittings as shown. Wear and weathering commensurate with age and use. Brass elements present a nice patina.
