Description
North America, United States, ca. late 19th century CE. A wonderful bowie knife with a large steel blade, a caramel-hued wooden handle, and six pins securing the tang to the handle. The tang extends past the furthest point of the handle to a curved and stylized avian-form terminal, with two copper discs representing eyes and two thin curved pieces representative of a beak. A unique and amusing weapon! Size: 12.5" L (31.8 cm).
