Framed gouache and graphite on paper by John Charles Pitcher (Washington and Anchorage, Alaska, b-1949). A bird study: Red-Necked Grebe, "A Study of head & feet made from field notes and sketches on May 3rd, 1976, Anchorage, AK, c.1977". Artist signed and dated 1977. Artist's notes, signature and bird identification attached to the reverse. Measures 17-3/8" x 13.5". Framed and matted under plexiglass, 19" x 15.25".
