Description

Exquisite unsigned Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751 - 1843) French gilt bronze and red marble candelabras. Features and winged goddess with arms outstretched holding a gilt bronze central column with feathered and floral relief decoration. The central column features five trumpet like arms embellished with a green man or Baccus like face as well as floral detail. The goddess is fixed to a square base consisting of rich red marble with each side adorned with a gilt wreath. Attributed to Thomire, quality as such. Measures 38 1/4" tall. Good overall condition. Will not ship. Will refer local third party shippers.
