1st-4th century AD. A group of five figural escutcheon mounts consisting of two in the form of a bearded male; two of head of Attis with headdress; one in the form of a lion head. 22 grams total, 16-19mm (5/8 - 3/4"). From the collection of an Essex gentleman; acquired on the UK art market in the 1990s.[5]
