Description
Shibuichi tsuba of oval form finely carved in katakiribori technique with the design of Hotei (one of The Seven Gods of Good Luck) sitting under a pine tree with a huge sack and a fan (uchiwa)inlaid in copper, at his feet. Rocks and a pine tree branch carved on the reverse. The kozuka hitsu-ana plugged with soft metal. Signed:Hidetomo. Omori School, Edo, 1743-1807.
