hallmarked London, 1764-1765, by Robert Hennell I & David Hennell I (fl. 1763-1772), oval cauldron form with wavy gadrooned rim, decorated with wavy flutes and gadroons, raised on four shell-crested scroll-and-shell feet, monogrammed "AAR", fitted with conforming cobalt glass liners.
h. 2", l. 3-1/4", w. 2-3/4"; 9.07 total t. oz. (excluding liners)

Condition

**The monogram cartouche on both cellars has evidently been cut out from a different pair and set into these; both show worn relief on the surrounding cartouche, and the monogram of one has been partially obliterated. Otherwise, the pair are in good condition, with some surface wear, bumps and scuffs consistent with age.
