Pair of Hester Bateman (1708-1794) Sterling Silver Salt Cellars
hallmarked London, 1785-1786, oval pedestal form with slightly upswept ends and reeded rim and outscrolled handles, raised on a conforming pedestal foot above a rectangular plinth base.

Condition
**In generally very good used condition with no breaks, dents or repairs noted and no wear beyond the expected surface scuffs and dings consistent with age. Nice patina. Traces of gilding on the interiors. Marks good, though the maker's mark is a bit worn on one and part-struck on the other. Incuse duty mark.
