LARGE, 19th C. Antique Qing Dynasty Chinese Kesi panel slit tapestry. Expertly seamed with metallic thread showing humble villager in pursuit ceremonial gathering, with immortals visible on landscape scene, all sets against deep-blue ground. The tapestry has a smooth surface and appears exactly the same on the front and back. Matted on red border, and wooden framed, set behind glass.
