Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. An elegant blue-green glass cup with a concave base, a cylindrical body, a deep interior cavity, and a slightly-rolled rim. The exterior surfaces are enveloped in a stunning layer of rainbow- and gold-hued iridescence which radiate a palette of brilliant hues when viewed in the light. Simply dazzling, this is a wonderful example from the ancient Roman Empire! Size: 2.95" H (7.5 cm).
