In a Doris Langley Moore Letter: “All were bought by me from a niece of Mrs. Toogood, one of the Queen’s dressers and quite beyond questionâ€. The clothing items are of the Queen’s size during her elder years and conform to her taste.Black with pointed vamp decorated with a double bow having an oval buckle, leather soles, linen insole and partial kid lining. DLM tag, mentioned in letter from Doris Langley Moore to Helen Larson, January 3, 1964, and invoice of July 31, 1965. L-9 3/4. Excellent.
