Complete dress uniform comprised of heavily decorated tailcoat, button-fly trousers with gold side stripe, beaver bicorne hat trimmed with ostrich feathers and sword with scabbard, tassel and sling. Lascelles, b. 1902, was Ambassador to Ethiopia 1949-51, Minister of Afghanistan 1953-57, Minister to Japan 1957-59. Label "Ranken & Co. Ltd". Ch-40, Sh-17, Slv-25, L 21-40, trouser W-34, Ins-33. (Jacket lining stained under arms) excellent.
