Description

Fine antique, possibly French, brass inkwell in eagle form. Crafted of solid bronze with a glass insert. Features the form of an eagle with its wings spread and claw over a dead hare, perched on a rocks and fixed to an oval, twisted cable +embellished base. The head is hinged and lifts to reveal a glass insert. Measures 8" tall with a 8 1/2" x 7 1/4" base. Good overall condition with minor wear to surface. In house continental USA shipping $45 plus insurance.
