Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A gilded bronze ring with an incised motif on its bronze face that appears to be an abstract horse and rider - or possibly a camel - some kind of quadruped with long legs! (US 6.75). Very wearable! Size: 0.8" L x 1.95" W (2 cm x 5 cm)
Provenance: Ex- Collection of James Farmer, Maryland, collected from major galleries and auction houses between 1995 and 2005
