Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A beautiful translucent green glass vessel of an attractive form comprised of a near spherical body on a dimpled base, and a long flared neck. Boasting gorgeous seafoam green hues and surprisingly no broken pontil - suggesting that the piece was possibly mold blown. A wonderful example of ancient Roman glass! Size: 5.125" H (13 cm)
