Image size: 24 x 20 in. (610 x 508 mm). Plasse, a painter/printmaker, studied in Paris with Ferdinand-Anne Piestre Cormon, Paul Thomas, and Marcel Andre Baschet. He became one of the "Artistes Français", in 1907 exhibiting at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Tuilleries, where he received several awards. In the early 1920's Plasse traveled briefly to the United States, visiting NYC and then journeying out West. [27892-10-1200]
