Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A petite, near-translucent, and olive-green glass bottle with a slight-concave base and rough pontil. The slender body has five unevenly-indented sides, a narrow neck, and a flared rim. Areas of brilliant rainbow-hued iridescence adorn the exterior in hues of sapphire, citrine, amethyst, emerald, and topaz. An attractive example for any collection! Size: 1" W x 3.25" H (2.5 cm x 8.3 cm).
Provenance: private Orange County, California, USA collection, acquired before 2000
