These are Volumes 1 & 2 of Franco Maria Ricci's Modelli Parigini a re-visitation of the Journal des Dames et des Modes, fashion illustrations from 1912 through 1914, with an introduction by Christina Nuzzi. All text is Italian. These were the property of the Giorgio Amani Fashion Corp., as indicated on a front page of each volume, with an Armani business card left in the book (name blocked in the photo - not in the book). Each book is in its original black on black clamshell box. These have surface wear, but are in good overall condition. The covers (app. 9.25" x 9.75") have some white spots, but are otherwise in very good condition, with the gilt lettering and color illustrations clean & unfaded, the spines straight and securely attached, the outside corners sharp. The inside is in excellent condition. The only writings are the Armani notations. There are no stamps or other attachments. The pages are clean, unfaded, unstained, and without tears or creases. The binding is tight. All the illustrations, and all text, are as new. The accompanying photos are accurate reflections of the set conditions.
